One of the most interesting features of Essentio CS5110 Mini PC is its ability to display exceptional quality graphics. It is also the world’s smallest desktop personal computer.

OCZ Technology Group is set to start a new trend in laptop computers. The company has announced the release of its Do-It-Yourself (DIY) gaming notebook PCs, which are designed to allow consumers to build their own laptop.
The OCZ DIY program enables customers to purchase an unconfigured barebone notebook so they can customize it to their own specific needs. The OCZ’s guides and direct support will help the consumers go through the process and finally create their own laptop. They can even select operating system, processor, memory, and hard drive or solid state drive of choice.

Gizmodo published images of the Dell Mini Inspiron ultraportable laptop. This is Dell’s first low-cost mini-notebook.
The details of the Dell Mini Inspiron are not yet known but speculations abound that the mini laptop has three USB ports, a memory card reader, VGA output, and Ethernet LAN port.

I think the trend is towards giving the consumers low-cost ultraportable laptops. Sony, Asustek, Everex, and 3K already released their own models. And now, Acer does not want to be left behind.
