Nokia’s WiMAX-enabled N810 Internet Tablet

Nokia’s WiMAX-enabled N810 Internet Tablet has appeared at CTIA 2008. This cellphone/tablet is set to go on sale in the US this summer. And of course, this would not become a big thing if not for its rich features.

Nokia N810 specifications:

  • 4.13-inch touchscreen
  • slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • built-in webcam for video calls
  • Mozilla-powered browser
  • integrated GPS / media player
  • 2GB of internal memory
  • microSD expansion slot

Nokia even boasts about this thing’s ability to “access the Internet over WiFi or via conventional cellular data networks by pairing to a compatible mobile phone via Bluetooth technology.”

Additional feature: Updated OS2008 which includes:

  • Enhanced e-mail client
  • Support for Chinese character rendering in the browser and RSS feeds
  • “Seamless Software Update functionality”
