LG Glimmer is a slider smartphone that features a touchscreen, camera, music player, and GPS capability. It is currently being offered by Alltel Wireless for $250.

LG Glimmer has a 2-megapixel camera and an MP3 player with an equalizer that is easily customized. The phone is also equipped to handle GPS transactions. It comes with an expandable memory slot and with a built-in memory of 128 MB. Its large display and multimedia capabilities allow users to access and manage their video and music with a simple touch.

The new smartphone, which will became commercially available on March 13, costs $250 after a $100 mail-in rebate at Alltel Wireless. The discounted price is available to new customers who agree to a two-year service agreement, and to existing customers with qualifying rate plans.
