Walmart is now helping Dell recover
From BBC News:
Computer firm Dell has announced plans to start selling personal computers through low-cost retailer Wal-Mart.
Gosh! What’s happening to Dell these days? It seems that they are going to the dirt. They have been making not-so-wise decisions lately and now they are using Wal-Mart to help them recover.
Initial plans are to sell Dell’s lowest-priced Dimension multimedia desktop computers, also available directly from the computer maker, in about 3,500 Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
They will be sold bundled with accessories for less than $700 (£352) from June 10.
I just hope this firm recovers. Well everybody deserves a second chance. I just hope they make their laptops and notebooks explosion-free as well so that they would get back on track smoothly.
It’s understandable though that Wal-Mart would do such a thing. After all, Wal-Mart sells just about anything. From cheap prom dresses to low-tech computers. Name it, Wal-Mart has it.
